Important Points

In case a new local city tax is introduced by the Greek Government in 2018, guests will have to pay this directly at the hotel and this tax is NOT included in the package rates (tax rates may vary from 0,50 to 4 Euros on a night basis depending on hotel category).

Almost all Countries need Passports to be valid for minimum 6 months & few of them for minimum 9 Months from the date of entry into there Country. So please check expiry date of your Passports and its highly recomended that you get it renewed around 10 to 12 months before its expiry
All Countries who Stamp Visa on Passport or give on Arrival Visa need at least 2 Blank Pages on Passport and few countries Back to Back Blank Pages to enable them to Stamp the Visa. Please check your Passports if you have available pages and if not then please get it renewed
Handwritten and Passports issued for 20 years are no longer valid and such Passports have to be renewed immediately
Any water spillage or Torn Pages or any Damage to external or internal parts of Passports will result in Passports not being accepted for Visa or during Immigration and hence its recomended that we renew the Passport

Tourist VISA Requirement

1. Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and two blank pages for visa stamp.
Please note:
a) Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy
b) Handwritten passports will not be accepted.
c) Attach all your old passports (if any)
2. One visa application form duly filled and signed on column 37 and 38.
Please note :
a) Applicant mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing
b) The form must be printed back-to-back
3. The following forms also need to be duly filled, signed and submitted along with the application
a) Health Policy Declaration Form

4. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish.Photo should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70%-80% of the photograph, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 40mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 6 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas
5. Covering-Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on business letterhead mentioning name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer,Embassy of Greece, New Delhi.
Please Note : Covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed .

a) Student must submit a school certificate / identity car

Please note that the days are counted from the day it is received by the Embassy, and not from the date it is submitted to VFS. Please also allow for another 3-6 days of courier between VFS and the Embassy

Day 2 : Athens City Tour With Acropolis Museum

From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, with the half-day Athens sightseeing and Acropolis museum tour you will see all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens on this comprehensive morning tour. Offering a perfect overview of the city, this guided half-day tour, the only one which includes headphone system will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. We start with a photo stop at Panathinaikon Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium in the world that is built out of white marble. We then proceed, passing by Zappeion and The Temple of Olympian Zeus. We will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens and the National Library. Payment Policy

For Bookings before 2 Months: 20% of the total Package Cost
For Bookings between 2 Months to 1 Month: 50% of the total Package Cost
For Bookings within 1 Month till 15 Days before Departure: 100% of the total Package Cost
Payment Policy differs for some specific Hotels, which will be informed to you at the time of booking
During Peak Season (Summer Holidays,Diwali & New Year) 50% of Total Package Cost will be required at the time of confirmation & Balance 1 Month prior to departure

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation: 21 days or more before departure
INR 10,000 will be charged as penalty on cancellation 21 days before departure
For bookings less than INR 20,000 per passenger, 25% of the package cost will be payable at the time of cancellation
Cancellation : 11 to 20 days before departure.50% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation between 11 to 20 days before departure
Cancellation : 10 days or less before departure
100% of the package cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation 10 days before departure
Cancellation Policy differs for some specific Hotels, which will be informed to you at the time of booking

Refund Policy

Refund against Amendment and Cancellation will be paid directly to the source through whom the Guest is booked
It would take at least 7 days to process such Refund. However, there is NO REFUND for any unutilised services. Example - meals, prepaid entrance fees, hotel, sightseeing, transportation (surface / air)
All refunds will be in respective Bank Accounts and No Cash refunds will be made irrespective of how the Payments were Received
